Congratulations to the Capital High School Varsity Choral Union & Percussion Ensemble, selected to perform at the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) All Northwest Regional Convention in Bellevue, Washington. We're proud of them, including directors Joie Cariaga, Casey Lindorfer & Lauren Caldwell (Assistant Conductor at the Convention and Music Specialist at Adams Elementary School).
This recognition is a testament to the tireless efforts of both Capital High School's performing arts students and Capital's talented directors, Joie Cariaga and Casey Lindorfer, respectively. At Capital High School, as well as at Boise's other traditional public high schools, we place a high value on the performing arts and consider this honor a validation of our commitment to excellence in music education. We also recognize and appreciate the support from our parents and community partners who play a critical role in fostering a vibrant arts culture at Capital High School. Ms. Cariaga’s passion and advocacy for her students is truly inspiring, and Mr. Lindorfer’s dedication to providing students an elite educational experience for our percussionists is unparalleled. We are grateful for their guidance and leadership. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the National Association for Music Education for granting Capital High School's music students the opportunity to perform before your esteemed membership during this prestigious national conference.
