U.S. Congressman Russ Fulcher has announced his support following the adoption of the Senate Amendment to H.Con.Res. 14. This resolution outlines the congressional budget for fiscal year 2025 and sets budgetary guidelines through to 2034. The House's adoption signifies progress in the reconciliation process, allowing committees to begin formulating reconciliation legislation.

Fulcher emphasized the importance of this legislative step. "Today, I voted to get Congress one step closer to delivering a final reconciliation package that secures historic reductions to federal government spending and provides hard-working Americans with much-needed tax relief," he stated. He further noted the critical need for budget reforms to maintain the functionality of essential programs, enhance resources for border patrol, and promote economic growth by reducing bureaucratic obstacles. "There is no time to waste. Let's get the job done," Fulcher declared.

This legislative move instructs committees to draft a reconciliation bill according to the guidelines established in the House FY25 budget resolution.
