U.S. Congressman Russ Fulcher has expressed his opposition to the revised American Relief Act, 2025, by voting against it. In a statement released after the vote, Congressman Fulcher explained his reasoning.

"I voted against today’s Continuing Resolution because while it is legislation with good intent, it ultimately sends an invoice to future generations of Americans in the staggering amount of $110 billion for policy expenditures that could have been—and should have been—offset by spending cuts in other areas," said Congressman Fulcher.

He emphasized the need for Congress to focus on single-subject spending bills as a means to control government expenditure and maintain fiscal responsibility. "Congress must return to single subject spending bills to reign in wasteful government spending and restore fiscal sanity," he stated.

Looking ahead, Congressman Fulcher expressed his intention to collaborate with the incoming Trump administration on this matter starting January 20.
