"Today I voted to refocus the Department of Defense on our military’s core mission—deterrence and lethality," stated Congressman Fulcher. He emphasized the importance of being prepared in light of "increasing threats in the United States, and rising conflicts around the world." According to Fulcher, this legislation is crucial for recruiting and retaining top-tier military personnel.
Fulcher highlighted that this legislative effort would provide a foundation for incoming President Donald Trump's administration. It also aims to ensure that soldiers' quality of life mirrors the nation's gratitude for their service.
The NDAA includes provisions that address various aspects related to servicemembers' welfare, aiming to improve their overall quality of life while maintaining a strong defense posture.
