Idaho Rep. Russ Fulcher discusses border troops and women's sports controversy

CBS2 recently interviewed Idaho Representative Russ Fulcher to discuss various issues affecting the state. One of the topics addressed was Idaho's decision to send troops to the Southern Border. Fulcher expressed his support for this action, stating, "This, I think it's a good move, and I think that they should as needed. Moving forward, every state is a border state with this open border situation, and I think now is more pertinent than ever, probably because the cartels know that is likely to get shut down with a new administration coming in."

Fulcher also commented on Boise State Women's Volleyball team's decision to forfeit games against San Jose State due to the presence of a transgender athlete on their roster. He remarked, "I think a forfeit in this case is a win and a win for women's sports, and so that's openly what this is all about - is protecting women's sports. We do not want men participating in women's sports, and that's what this is all about, so I support this heavily."
