Idaho Watercolor Society Exhibit Opens in Meridian City Hall’s Initial Point Gallery

MERIDIAN, ID – The Meridian Arts Commission and the Idaho Watercolor Society present a new art exhibit at Initial Point Gallery, located on the third floor of Meridian City Hall. The public is invited to view the art and meet the artists at an Opening Reception in the gallery on Friday, June 2, from 4:30 – 6:30 pm. Following the reception, an awards ceremony will be held for the artists from 6:30 – 8:00 pm at City Hall. 

The show will display diverse works by 52 members of the Idaho Watercolor Society that were selected by internationally acclaimed juror and artist Robin Poteet. The exhibit will be on display from Friday, May 26 through Thursday, June 29. Admission to the gallery and reception is free and open to the public. The gallery is open weekdays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, excluding federal holidays. 

Initial Point Gallery, which is curated by the Meridian Arts Commission, features a rotating series of art exhibits highlighting a variety of local, regional and national artists.
