National Impaired Driving Prevention Month
Thu Dec 1st - Sat 31st
MADC
Every day, almost 32 people in the United States die in drunk-driving crashes — that's one person every 45 minutes. In 2020, 11,654 people died in alcohol-impaired driving traffic deaths — a 14% increase from 2019. These deaths were all preventable. In an average year, 30 million Americans drive drunk, and 10 million Americans drive impaired by illicit drugs. MADC encourages families, educators, health care providers, and community leaders to promote responsible decision-making and encourage young people to live free of drugs and alcohol. Please celebrate safely.
