Arrested: Jon Nobles, 44, Emmett
Charges: 3 counts - Property-Malicious Injury to Property (F), Burglary (F), Arrests & Seizures–Resisting or Obstructing Officers (m)
This morning around 4 am Boise Police officers stopped a burglary in progress at a business on the 1700 block of S. Broadway. Officers were dispatched after a motion and sound activated alarm was triggered inside of the closed business. When officers arrived they heard banging, the use of power tools, and change being dropped on the floor and saw suspect Jon Nobles inside. Nobles was seen using several tools to force entry into two change machines and an ATM. Officers made contact with Nobles, who refused to comply with given commands and ran further into the building. The suspect then forced his way through drywall into an adjacent business. Nobles continued to refuse commands and was eventually apprehended through the use of a Boise Police K9. Nobles was transported to the hospital for treatment before being booked into the Ada County Jail on the listed charges. Evidence indicates Nobles caused significant property damage after entering the first business through the roof, entering the second business through drywall, and damaging a water main line, change machines, and an ATM.
