Drivers should be prepared for a road closure on E Pine Ave at Eagle Rd, as Meridian City crews work on waterline improvements.
Starting Monday, August 8th at 5:30 AM until Friday, August 12 at 5 PM, E Pine Ave -- at the Eagle Road intersection -- will be closed to through traffic.
Eagle Road will not be closed.
The closure will impact all westbound and eastbound through traffic, with no access to Eagle Road from Pine Ave.
Access to businesses off E Pine Ave will be maintained at all times.
The crosswalk at Eagle Road and E Pine Ave will also be closed. A temporary pedestrian crossing has been set up near the intersection and is indicated on the map.
All sidewalks on E Pine Ave will be open for pedestrians.
Drivers are advised to use alternative routes until project work is completed. Detour signs are in place to alert motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists during the road closure.
