ACHD will be changing the road striping and reallocating pavement width to improve vehicle circulation during school pick-up and drop-off times, and improve the bicycle facilities on Star Road from Borealis St to Hidden Brook Dr. They will be removing unnecessary parking lanes adjacent to the school and reallocating the space to add a two-way left turn lane, widened bike lanes and buffers where possible.
They are working on the first steps of this today, tabbing out the new striping and obliteration of the old lines. This will hopefully be done by tonight. Paint crews should have the restriping completed by tomorrow or Thursday.
