The Zoning Code Rewrite is the City of Boise’s effort to review and update Boise’s Zoning Code, to ensure the future design and development of our city enables more walkable, dynamic spaces for everyone. The City of Boise is looking forward to your feedback on Module 2 of the Zoning Code Rewrite. We invite you to share your thoughts with city staff. Findings from all community outreach will be share with Mayor and City Council and will help inform future decisions and meet the growing needs in our community.

This meeting is tailored towards the Southeast/Airport Neighborhood Planning Area and we will talk specifically about how this area could change in the Zoning Code Rewrite. We encourage you to attend your Neighborhood Planning Area meeting or join one of our Community Conversations.

About the Zoning Code Rewrite

The Boise Zoning Code Rewrite is the City of Boise’s effort to review and update Boise’s Zoning Code, also known as the Development Code, to ensure the future design and development of our city enables more walkable, dynamic spaces for everyone.

With this update, we will be exploring tools that create developments that better preserve and enhance community character, integrate with existing neighborhoods and align with the city’s comprehensive plan, Blueprint Boise.
