Rep. Russ Fulcher, U.S. Congressman representing Idaho’s 1st district since 2019, posted a series of messages on his official Twitter account between August 24 and August 25, 2025, highlighting his office’s work for constituents and legislative efforts at the federal level.

On August 24, Fulcher shared a message quoting scripture and offering well wishes to his followers: “You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forever more,” Psalm 16:11.

Later on August 25, Fulcher announced support for new legislation targeting border security and environmental concerns along the Southwest border: I have signed on as an original co-sponsor to the FLASH Act.

The safety of American communities and the environmental health of federal lands along the U.S. Southwest border were devastated under the Biden-Harris administration’s historic border crisis.

Fulcher has represented Idaho’s 1st District in Congress since succeeding Raúl Labrador in 2019. Prior to his tenure in Washington, he served in the Idaho Senate from 2005 to 2014. Born in Boise in 1962, Fulcher currently resides in Meridian and is an alumnus of Boise State University.
